Just purchased my Dream Cruiser II on April 6. So far we really like it. Haven't activated the Sirius yet, but the 1-yr free subscription is nice. Looked in several places for a 5-spd in stock, finally found one, and got a GREAT price.
I also agree it looks better than the DC I, and now the mods begin. Eibachs (Tire Rack seems to have the best prices), then rear sway bar (since mine is without). |

I love the interior orange! Bought mine (#592) a week prior to Mets opening day at Shea. Most people thought I had it customized to make my Mets-mobile complete!
Just curious PTNV, are you will to share what your great price was? On edit, I saw your other post... Great deal! How'd you manage such a great price??? Actually, we kinda stumbled into that price. We weren't actively looking for a PT, though we talked about it frequently. The dealership (Town & Country Chrysler/Jeep in Portland,OR) advertised the car in the newspaper (Oregonian April 5). Base units for $11,788, Limited for $18,888, and a 'Dream Cruiser' for $20,995 (all prices after the Chrysler $1000 down payment match). Wife saw the ad in the Saturday newspaper, but I was busy and she forgot to say anything to me. Late that night, she showed me the ad . . . I told her it must be a leftover DC1. The next day, out of curiousity, we drove to the dealership, they couldn't find that specific unit - must have sold it (of course), and showed us two DC2 autosticks, for $3000 more ($23995 after the Chrysler $1000 match)!! I wandered all over the lot, and low and behold, I found it 'hiding' in the back corner. Checked the ads 'stock number' to that listed on the car, it matched, and the deal began. Salesman said they made an error, but no disclaimers were printed in the paper, or in the dealership. Bringing out my cell phone, and speaking a little loudly in the center of the showroom, I started to call another dealership listed in the newspaper, to ask if they would honor Town & Country's advertised price, and Town & Country quickly relented.

Also add $63 for title, registration, & license (no tax in Oregon), and that's it. I thought it was a good deal, since all the other dealerships are advertising 'regular' PT GT's for $21,000. Edited to add picture of our new lil car. Edited by - PT2NV on 04/26/2003 00:19:52 |

We too got a great deal on our 2003 Electric Blue Turbo. I got a price from an Oregon dealer and our dealer here in California matched it. It's great being a two PT family!!!!
