After 90 days you should be able to apply wax to the finish without problems. I was told by the professional who pin-striped my GT that after 60 days I could again apply sealant to the finish which my dealer will do free of charge. This will "bond" the painted pin-striping to the original factory paint which I had sealed before taking delivery. Good luck.

Although there are many good products on the market today, I generally use Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax ("clear coat safe"). Costco sells the large economy-size at a good price.
