Links, Mopar and other car companies contract with Chemial companines to make paint sealant, then charge unreal prices which they pass on to buyers. This irritates me to no end. I have talked to many chemcial companies that won't sell the big boys becuase they try to dictate a formula that is "cost effective". I can't say with complete authority exactly what formula Morpar is using. I will say that I have tried some of their car care products, and found them below my standards. I sell a professional paint sealant. many cruiser members have purchased it already. I use it on my own cars as well as my customers. I have a description posted on the difference between paint sealant and wax. When I find it, I'll let you know. Visit my web site with more questions and I'll respond in privite. Gary

Believe Mopar MasterShield Paint Sealant is a private label made by ValuGard Automotive International, Can visit their website, http://www.autoint.com/, to learn more about their products and here is a link to their recommended installation guide for their paint sealant: http://www.autoint.com/Paint%20Installation%20page.htm . The general opinion is that it is a high quality sealant, but longevity of the coating is about 6 months. There are plenty of paint sealant alternatives readily available to you at a lower cost like: Zaino, Klasse, Autoglym Extra Gloss, Poorboy's EX, Blackfire, Platinum Ultimate Paint Protection, Meguiar's #20, Mother's Reflections, Liquid Glass, etc.
