Default Wave?

I know that with certain cars such as the Corvette and some Jeeps, the owners of these cars will wave to each other when passing on the street. Do any PT'ers do this? Have you been waved to, or do you wave to others?

I know some say it's corny, but I was just wondering. I think that of the overall number of PT owners out there, the majority probably aren't into their cars as much as those of us here on the site are, but it would still be a nice show of support?

Although I guess now that all my windows are tinted, it would be kinda hard! [8D]

What do y'all think? [:I]

Almost every cruiser that I run accross makes an acknowledgement of somekind. Its almost like when I had a Motorcycle. Almost every rider I ran accross acknowledged me. Anyway it seems that it doesn't matter how modified or how stock the cruiser is you still get a wave. Once in a while I'll get a look at a Ricer (in the rearview mirror of course), and its a funny thing. They wave too, but they only use 1 finger. Does that mean that they think PT Cruisers are #1?? I WONDER!!

I am sure that those that are on the club sites are more into are cars than those not on the sites.
I have meet owners who have no interest in the clubs or webs sites. The PT is just a car to them.

I was driving my son's grand prix a few weeks ago and thinking I was in my Cruiser, I saw another one and blinked my lights. HE DIDN'T RESPOND! DA, like he should of known my other car was a cruiser.

I wave at other PT's when I see them. Seems like 2/3's give me a wave back.

I actually passed someone going in the opposite direction with a cranberry GT just like mine this morning! She returned my wave quite enthusiastically. It's the first turbo PT I've seen since I bought mine.

At first I felt kinda funny waving to other drivers. I mean, we drive the same car, what's the big deal? But after getting some waves back, I realized that other people are just as happy to be cruising around in their cars as I am!

I just feel like a moron sometimes when I'm waving to the other cruisers on the road, and people aren't waving back. I don't think my windows are that dark that they don't see me. [:I]
