Last night I picked up some Maguires Car Wash. Its a red liquid in a clear plastic bottle and some Maguires Gold Class Car Wax. Both products worked very well. The car wash cleaned and didn't leave a film. The Maguires wax did a very good job. Just dont leave it on too long before you buff it off. The instructions say to appply a thin coat over the whole car then go back and wipe it off. Don't do that..... I did the hood and both doors on the passenger side and it was not easy buffing the last door. Overall I was pleased with the wax. Also, If you have problems with the finish on the door columns, (the black on mine was really spotted and I could not get it to come off with any polish or cleaner I tried) The Maguires wax (not the wash) not only cleaned the spots but left a beautiful finish. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ps. I also did my wheels and on the tires I used Eagle One Wet Tire Shine. [?]Still Shinin' |

Good to know. A friend gave us a Gold Class car care kit ($65) he won at Carlisle. We'll have to use up our Zaino[?] before we get to that. Hope it will last that long...[:I]

I basically use Meguiers on my Cruiser and on my boat. I like their products. Your Cruiser is shinin' and I like your wheels. Very nice.

Looking good! [8D] Nothing looks as nice as a washed/waxed Inferno Red PTC in the bright sun. [|)] Just my "unbiased opinion" of course.

Looks great! I use Meguiars, too. I noticed too that if you leave the wax on the car too long, it gets tough to buff out.

I've tried most of the products on the market in the past three years. I keep coming back to the Maguires brand. I think that they do a super job and I can get them when I need them at my local stores.

Guys, a note on Meguiars line of products. the red bottle stuff is their ecomony line, sold at wal mart and such. You want the tan or brown bottle stuff, that is their professional line. It is all I use when using the DAPC or HSR. The Gold class got only a C- in guru wax report. The Bible of all car waxes. I will posting something soon on car wax in general as soon as I catch up from a long weekend off. Gary> check out my car on test forum #3 from turbomangt
