I should be embarrASSed to say this. But I didn't know that our rear cargo shelf can be placed in an upward position as used as a divider to section off front and back portions for storage and hauling. Also, those little Hooks under the shelf are for plastic grocery bags so they don't bounce around. Maybe I'm the only island? did anyone NOT know about that? I have 13,000 miles and I just found this out? ok, no jokes Gary

Did you get the cargo net with your PT. That too can be hooked onto different "D" rings around the back for horizontal and vertical use. I knew about the "T" hooks, been hanging things from them since I got the PT.

Yea, my salesdroid spent about 10 minutes extolling the virtues of the rear shelf.

All I need now is a 12V DC blender and I'm ready for a tailgate party!

I waited 4 months for my car, my salesman didn't have a chance to do anything except hand me the keys! Glad to see I was able to tell some people about the shelf. I hope you guys know the front seat lays flat, which is why the back is made out of hard plastic.

The Cargo Net is no longer standard equipment, but like the ashtray, and the seat back backpack, it can be bought in the parts dept.

I've removed my rear seat and shelf. I like the van like open space.
