Hmmm, a CARFAX vehicle accident history might offer an explanation. If you aren't able to get it fixed, consider swaping it for another one. Good Luck.

I took my 2001 Ltd. to the Chrysler dealership on Thursday. They had it all day. They claimed they hooked up special new "listenening" equipment that allows them to determine where hard-to-find noises are coming from. They said they checked all around the driver's door and even around the moonroof. The "instrument" did not pick up any noise that was deemed to be abnormal. They appeared to be sympathetic and were trying to find the problem but said they couldn't fix what they couldn't hear, see or feel.
So... I guess that means I'm hearing things? Now what do I do? |

It has been a couple of months since your message was posted - I am having the same problem and was wondering if you have had any success with Chrysler? I had a 2001 and didn't have the wind noise but with the 2003 I do....just curious. I love my PTC just not the noise.

I have no wind noise but have a suggestion. Try getting "weatherflectors" - window wind deflectors:
http://order.store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin...45c1102bd1ac54 They are great to "crack" awindow in rain, and may eliminate the noise. The weatherflectors fit real close, use no tape or screws - fit in the window channel.

I had the same type of noise you are describing, the weatherflectors mentioned above did help.

I know extactly what your talking about. Its like your left rear window is open a crack and when you look its closed tight. I have the same thing on my 03 GT also had the same thing on my 1993 escort. I noticed that it depended on how fast I was driving and if it was a blustery day or not. IMHO its just normal its a small car and your head is closer to the window than it would be in a bigger luxury car. [:I]
