Had my Cruiser in the dealership for another issue last week. Spoke with the service manager about some black marks left on my front bumper last time it was in and when he looked he said I think the marks are just grease but I am going to have to replace the bumper covers anyway because of the tape like marks on them. He has ordered the new and they will install them on the 16th.

After reading through the poste here it doesn't sound like anyone knows what the marks are. You can try simple green and a soft nylon detail brush if it is some sort of residue that should take it off. You can also follow up with a water based dressing once it's dry. Several companies also make a dye, however that won't work on plastic needs to be a porous material like rubber. Whoever posted wax? DON'T WAX MOLDED PLASTIC. as you found out, it only stains the material. Gary

I have the same problem with the bumpers - I thought it happened when I taped up my pt to detail it but apparently not. I heard that Armor-All should take it off. I just heard it today so I'm going to check it out tonight. I'll keep you all posted on whether or not its the solution.

Welcome to the forum Cubavera02! Armor-All will not solve the problem, after a couple of days the marks will re-appear. The only solution is to have your bumpers painted. Dealer may or may not take care of this, mine did.
