Default They got me

Yesterday I was driving down a road and I could see a city truck ahead of me. They were waving cars around truck because it was going slow, didn't know what they were doing to the road untill I got home. I COULD SCREAM, THEY WERE PAINTING THE WHITE LINES IN THE ROAD Now I have white paint inside my wheel wells, on the tires, and all over the side of my car,[xx(]In 1/2 a second they gave me a 4 hour job[:0]my tax dollars hard at work. Gary

Gary,

Got the same treatment a few years ago up north in my Z24. They were painting the double yellow lines and it ended up (like you said) all over the wheels and inner fenders and a bit of spray on the side of the car.

That's a real shame. I have encountered the same situation twice in recent months but quickly pulled over to the edge of the road and was lucky not to have gotten any paint on my car.

I feel your pain!!!!!

I made the mistake of driving behind a roofing company truck pulling a trailor with a tar pot. I had spots of tar feon the very bottom of the front end to the sunroof. It took me hours to get it all off with bug & tar remover. I couldn't even get it all done in one day.

Don't you just hate it when people are so irresponsible?

Ouch! Sorry to hear that Gary. The other day I was just about to pull into a parking spot at Home Depot when I saw a huge puddle of white paint on the drivers side of the parking spot. It looked like someoned had dropped one of the big 10 gallon paint buckets and just left it. Luckily I stopeed in time and quietly parked as far away from it as I could.
