Sci-Fi,

I thought the wind buffetting noise problem was when the front windows were *down*. Are you saying it is also supposed to help when front (actually all) windows are closed?

I will look in to adding the side deflectors.

comPuTer, I have the same problem in mine. I have plans of taking it to my dealer in the next couple weeks while it is in for other stuff. Sounds like a design issue.

The wind buffeting noise problem occurs when the front windows are *down*. Opening the rear windows slightly will lessen or eliminate the buffeting noise by allowing the air to flow thru and back out of your PT or in other words, by alleviating the air pressure build up in your PT.

If you meant wind noise when the windows are "closed", the rubber door seals were redesigned for the 2002 model year and some 2001 PT owners had their seals replaced with the 2002 design, and that seemed to solve their problem. There were some reports of wind noise coming from the folding mirrors and radio antenna (whistling noise), but haven't seen any resolutions to that problem ( I haven't had any noise coming from my mirrors or antenna).

"Yep," the little boy said, "he sure did!"
The cop looked the bike over and next thing hands the boy a $20 fine for a safety violation. "Next year," he said, "tell Santa to bring you a reflector light."
The young boy looked up at the cop and said: "Nice horse you've got there, Officer. Did Santa bring it to you?"
"Yep, he sure did," chuckled the cop.
The little boy looked up at him again and said: "Next year, tell Santa the dick goes underneath the horse, not on top."
This happens when all my windows are ALL THE WAY UP.
