looking for decals??

hello all, the other day i picked up an american racing booklet and in it is a pt with what looks like a flame kit on it but its not flames it looks like feathers, anyone ever see this?? my wife loves it and would like to put them on her 02 pt any help would be great thanks bob

Sounds like it might have been painted on. Haven't seen anything like that in my travels throughout the PT accessory world...which doesn't mean to say someone isn't selling them...they sound kind of neat and very different.

I think I saw a pic of this at the PTOC Vegas show. From the Pics I saw I would bet you it was painted on. The design is too complex for a decal.

I saw a taupe PT with air brushed flames. Could this be the one?

If your wife loves it, you better find it! Try MOPAR's website - if you click through to Chrysler/PT accessories, exterior, decals, you'll find a Canadian company making decals for PT's that are being sold thru MOPAR. They have one called wings, one called hawk, and about ten other interesting sounding ones. Maybe one of these is the feathered look your wife needs.

As of a few weeks ago, however, I could not find examples of what they look like. The mfr (whose 800# is listed on the webpage) told me they thought that dealerships should have the new catalog with photos any day. I'm eager to see them too.

hello all, i just spoke with a woman at the toll free # i have to call she said the are still working out the last details with chrysler and hopefully in about three weeks the booklet should be out there showing a pic of all there decals !!

I think I may have seen this at Raging Waters Saturday, it was on an almond PT. It was "pearlflash" vinyl wings coming back from the front fenders. Looked pretty cool, not as cool as flames though I think []
