Are You A Waver?

Do you wave at other PTs when you are driving? My wife did not believe me when we got it. I told her to wave at other PTs. She got 3 waves on the way home and that convinced her. I notice I get about a 60% return. More guys than gals. What are your thoughts?

Yes, I'm a WAVER, but I'd guess only about 25% are returning it around here. Is it really possible that some owners think the PT is just another car? Hard to believe, so I just keep waving.[8D]

In southern New England we seem to get a response from only about 1 in 10[xx(]
Oh well, I'll keep on waqving anyways even if my wife does think i am nuts.[|)]

Yep, we wave at all the PT's that we meet here in Maine and most of them wave back.

We try to wave but California roads are sometimes too wide and only closest oposing traffic lane can see us or we see them and at night it is very hard to spot others! But we try!

i wave, and sometimes blink the lights get about a 50% return

I used to wave, or at least blink the hi beams. But whenever I would wave, more than half the other PT owners would look at me like, "Do I know you?" or they would be totally oblivious to my actions.
The blinking works from time to time, especially in the dark[:0](duh?) I got a blink and a wave back from a wicked looking black PT driven by a shades wearing long haired dude about my age, a total rocker. [8D][?]
I was just about to give up on the waving thing until one day I was pulling out into traffic and an elderly couple in a Cranberry PT gave me the thumbs up. Thet made me feel really good, all fuzzy inside.

You bet I am. My wife laughs at me, but I usually wave and blink the fog lights.
I seem to get more response from younger drivers and those with mods...
