Sweet as they come.

I'm also a die-hard Mopar man. Have never owned anything but, even when since I "grew up."

I had a 57' Chev. when we were first married and only traded it because it was paid for. Wow, what an idiot. Suppose we ought to save the PT's and in 50 years we won't be wanting one like I do a for the 57?

The PT is primarily my wifes transportation. My passion is my 68 Plymouth Barracuda. It is restored but I am still making mods. Curently have all the parts to swap the front end to disk brakes and a rebuilt rear axle with a 3.55 sure-grip. For this winter I want to build a 408 cid small block using the mopar performance 4" stroker crank and a 360 block. I am looking to build a 450HP motor.

The wife has has laid down the law that the next old car has to be a 65-67 Mustang for her. I have already started to plant the seeds with her to build a kit car after that. I am torn between a 41 Willy's and a 37 Ford 3 window.

I learned to drive in a Camaro, but when my brother let me drive his 1970 Mustang I learned what it meant to be one with the machine. I Loved the throaty feel of the Ford V8 so much, I bought a 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertable. (at the sign of the cat)

My PT was the first new car I purchased, before that I drove a used '92 Hyndai Elantra for only a year. I rode my bicycle everywhere before that, so I could have cared less about cars and such. I knew NOTHING about cars! It seems that having this PT has sparked an interest within me, especially for old, old 30's and 40's cars that hot rodders today rebuild. I LOVE the Boydsters, I think they're like '30's Fords, wheels fattened, tops chopped, lowered, chromed up, painted yellow...everything! I like to see before and after photos of these cars. I guess I'm definitely not a purist.
