Default BlueJeanJacket.......

[:I] I dont know what happened.
We have had cool, damp weather move through today, I was in a Walmart store and as I passed by the rack of Levi Jean Jackets I stoppped and slipped one on. It has been at least 20 years since Ive worn a Jean Jacket, It fit like a broken in tennis shoe.
As soon as I went through the checkout, I slipped it on, turned the cuffs up on the sleeves and buttoned the botton two buttons. Stepping out to face the cool, moist air, I flipped up the collar and walked to my Little Red Cruiser, and smiled to myself.

anyone relate????

VERY cool story! I relate! Thanks for sharing such a pleasant and well-written little vignette for us all to enjoy! You truly captured the cruiser spirit.

Are you saying PT fever is advantageous to second childhooditis?

What if I haven't finished the first one yet?

Wow, denim jackets - loved 'em in the 80's. Need to find another one since I have no idea what happened to my own denim jacket. I almost can't wait for my kids to ask me what life was like in the 80's (I used to ask my folks about growing up in the 50's).

Nice looking PT, by the way.[8)]

LOL! My Wife and I were talking about the very same thing during our road trip last weekend. Would have to say though mine had the sleeves cut off and went over my leather. [?]

Nice to know we're not the only one's that geez out periodically over stuff like that.

I have been wearing them since I was about 12. I still wear one. Not the same one but they all have had an American flag on the left shoulder.
My mom put one on my first one and I have done it ever since. It does not get many comments today but in the late 60's and early 70's it did.
My wife puts a flag on my son's jackets now. People do comment when we go out together with them on.
