Malfunctioning remote door locking???

I'm having a problem with my door locks and I want to see if anyone else has had this problem.

When I turn off the engine and get out of the car and I use the remote to lock the doors, some time later it will start unlocking and locking back over and over again.

The first night it happened, it wore my battery down.

I took it to the dealership and they cant find anything wrong with it.

They had to replace my battery but that all.

I've only had my PT for 10 months.

Anyone have any ideas?

There have been a few similar reports over the last 3 years.
You can check the tech library of PT info at www.ptdiy.net

In all cases, the RKEM remote keyless entry module has been replaced.

Just my two-cents worth, but are you keeping the remote in your pocket and perhaps rubbing up against the button somehow? It has happened to me a couple of times. I was keeping my cell phone in the same pocket. Just a thought.
