Hmmmmm Light wallet syndrome....... Yep this is the result of a bout of PT BINGE MODDING. A symptom that we're all VERY familiar with. Unfortunately there's no cure LOL.......

Actually, the only cure is to have no money with which to Mod.

Mods seem to fall into a couple catagories for me. 1. major mods (read money mods) and 2. minor mods (read cheap mods). I have several minor mods; door lock pulls, floor mats, visor stickers, exterior scratch guards, side spears. I also have several major mods; lowering springs, strut tower brace, exhaust. I am also saving for a few more major mods including: stage 1, flames, stereo upgrade, sway bars.

Does it ever end?

anyone think it would be a bad idea to run up to summit racing and ask them where to start? i live about 15 miles from the ohio location and figured that it's the speedshop of speedshops in my area. by the way thanks everyone for replying and welcoming me.

The best thing to do is go to some PT Cruiser events in your area or even travel to those close enough to go to. Since you don't mention where you are it is difficult to point you in the drection of events in your area.

At events you will be able to see what others have done and talk first hand with the owners. You will see all types of modifications and how they look on a PT Cruiser.

Good luck. Let us know what you've done or feel free to ask questions about specific modifications.[|)]

My first mod was to add Blane's hood lifts, one of the best and simplest mods to add to your Cruiser. Protect your hood from accidental damage, plus they are just plain cool.
