Default New to the Cruiser. Wondering where to start

Hello everyone. Just bought my 01 cruiser a couple of days ago and was wondering where would be a good place to start as far as making it 1. a little faster 2. a little more eyecatching 3. a little faster i know that's a little vague but i'm a noob when it comes to car modding. basically i don't want to make any mistakes that will cost me heartache and money down the road.

I suggest that you visit all the vendor sites that are listed on the PT Links home page. There are so many things you can do to your car that is boils down to personal taste. This should keep you busy for a few weeks.

You can also do a search on this forum and look for pictures of other cars.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. You will surely get a bunch of answers. (a few may even be helpful )

Welcome to the world of PT Cruiser's and say GOOD-BYE to your bank account[8] As was stated above the first place to start would be the PTCruiserLinks home page. Good Luck[?]

Do like GTSteve said and visit the vendor sites. Look at as many custom PTs as you can and print the ones you like best. Then decide the style you want the car to be and buy the best stuff you can afford that matches the style. Then you won't get the wrong thing or have to buy twice. If you're not comfortable with what a vendor says or shows, ask here for references. Good Luck![?]
P.S. Item I'd recommend first....Blaneb hood struts

I would start by dropping a 392 HEMI in the thing.......OK, then how about making a Stroker 2.4L, blown with 22PSI, and a 500HP Laughing Gas kit ?

Welcome to the club. I'm a newbie, too. Had my Cruiser about six weeks. My wallet's a lot lighter now. Good luck!
