can anyone recommend a decent remote starter that will interface with the existing security features on the GT?

I am thinking about have a Viper 791XV installed on GT. From all that I have read about remote starters this is top of the line - Direct Electronics Technology sells under various names - Viper, Clifford, Rathler, Pythone, etc. Take a look at :

They have real good reports about this new model.

I just had a Clifford RSX3.5 installed and am very satisfied. It has two-way communications with the car so I can see the actual results of pushing the buttons.

I was looking into them also. Just to for warn ya, just be careful because some have been known to start fires.
How much does the good one go for?

I've got the 3star from "auto ameristar" I've usedthis same model on both our cars never had a problem and installed for 99.95 complete, thats here in michigan.
