Quicksilverdon,

Your comments regarding Wal Mart touched a raw nerve with me! I hope I don't offend anyone on this site but(some)of the people who work at Wal Mart (at least the one near me) should honestly be classified as a new species of sub-humans! If you can walk and breathe at the same time you're overqualified to work there. I told my wife "Wal Mart is the Jerry Springer Show of retailers". I won't go into a long litany of my experiences there but I have put it on my "only as a very last resort" list of places to shop. By the way, I did send Wal Mart a lengthy e-mail describing some of the things I found objectionable about their store and offered a few suggestions - and did it in a nice way. Never received a reply ... but I guess that doesn't surprize me either. Thanks for letting me vent![xx(][xx(]

I'll jump in here for just a minute and say that we also have experienced these bad attitudes among some retailers. We have not had any problems with Wal-Mart, but I have heard plenty of negative reports and I expect that there probably is one lurking in the future. My wife and I had some issues with K-Mart and I also sent a very business like e-mail and immediately got an automated reply stating their concerns that I was unhappy and that the information would be forwarded to the proper dept. and that they would get back to me. Well, I must tell you that it was over a year ago and we have never got a response back from them. I guess as long as the cash registers are working that's all that matters to them. Buy the way, we also have had great luck with Sears whenever there was a problem. It always is handled to our complete satisfaction at a local level. NOW, if we could just get beards smoothies to him................

[xx(] Had the same problem with Circuit City, received a very nice computer generated response and that someone from the local store would call me to see IF the problem was resolved. Sure glad I wasn't holding my breath.
