Thanks for the really great reply. What are your thoughts on the Reese hitch vs the HiddenHitch? Both have install instructions on the site. I am leaning towards the HiddenHitch as it has a more standard receiver size. Happy Thanksgiving.

Trailer-Guy, I've got the Hidden Hitch, installed it myself in about 2 hours start to finish. Took my time, it was very easy and I am pleased with the hitch.

Here's a pic of it installed:

Hi- I have installed BOTH a Reese and a Hidden (brand name). There is NO DOUBT that the Hidden brand can be done faster (4 bols, budda-bing, DONE). The Reese requires you to drill a hole into the cavity the where the trailights fit. Its hidden of course, just a little more troublesome to install. I like it however, because THAT bolt gives a little more security. The hitch CANNOT be removed (on purpose or by accident) without that extra nut/bolt being removed. That has pros and cons of course.

I have the Reese.

The Reese is also a FLATTER profile, versus the Hidden which is more square. Your call really.

Good luck.

Hidden hitch profile;

Reese (sorry, kinda dark)
