You will love your GT. Find a winding country road and give the Autostick a workout. Word of caution - point it where you want to go when you floor it in low. It doesn't turn too well under steam.
I've had mine since July 31 '02 and I have about 17 K miles on it.
I had it up to 124 on a back road in New Mexico last year and it was perfectly stable.

Thanks for the advice! That Autostick is something else! [8)]

I think you will find that you will use the autostick less and less around town unless you are used to a manual. You will forget to up shift from low at lights. I often drive in 3rd on the interstate when it's congested. It gives great pickup when you see a hole and prevents continual up and down shifts at 30 to 50 MPH (Florida interstates)
I also do this with my '02 TE.

Yea my previous '02 PT was a standard shift and it was such a pain in traffic because of the clutch action. The beauty of this "Autostick" is one click to the right, and it slows the PT instantly! I don't hit the brakes as much and when I reach my destination, my knees don't hurt from all that shifting. Blah! lol
