My wife just keeps shaking her head as I make my monthly car payment and stroll through the snow to the garage to LOOK at my cruiser as it takes up garage space. Little does she know that April will be here before too long
LOL!

My guess: The weight of the snow/bonding of the ice probably loosened the nut when you turned it on. It is a wiper, not a snow plow!

(I did not mean that in a derrogatory tone.)
