I notice a lot of wind noise when I have a big batch of chili beans the night before, may not be the same thing though.

Seriously COP TEZER's hint is a good one, I have seen body shop people do that to cars whose owners complain about "wind noise"!!

The dealership replaced the weatherstrip the first thing - they also taped off the entire door from the putside and still heard the noise. They also made so much adjustments that the door was out of align with the fender. I guess I should feel grateful that mine isn't as bad as some others but it still irratates me.

First off I have no wind noise from any specific part of my car. I does leak a slight amout of water if I put the hose on high and spray around the windows but nothing bad! Bending the glass usually only works for cars that have frameless windows! There is a lot of wind noise for a new car but I figure that is because of its high wind drag! It is about the samne amount of wind noise that my old 95 minivan had! I got my hood calmed down by putting a small piece of the same weatherstriping half way across the opening. I also did not cut my passenger side weatherstriping.

saki--when i complained about rear end whine in my 69 chrysler-my mechanic/friend asked about my radio, when i said that the radio did not work, he knew there no bluffing his way out of this one! he did find the problem. my ex wife(in training) more than once turned up the tunes to try and mask strange noises that her car was making. what a woman. any way, it is not unusual for mirrors, windshield moldings, antennas and other protuberances to be a source of wind noise. good luck.
