Default Removing the 'Dealer Sticker" off the back...

What's the best way to remove the dealer sticker from the back gate? It's one of those where each letter is it's own sticker. I don't feel like being a rolling advertisement for them...[:0]

Thanks.

I removed mine by using a hair dryer to heat the sticker up and then just peeled it off. If any adhesive is left you can use tar remover or something similar to remove the adhesive.

Thanks..
Actually, I didn't realize how easy the sticker came off. I was able to lightly pick at the corner of each letter and it came right off.

I made the dealer take it off before I picked it up.[?]

They have too if you tell them.

This month's Popular Mechanics has an article I just read on removing adhesive add-ons on cars. Heat is the first method, "goo-gone" for adhesive, and also ammonia. Wax well after.

The carmax sticker was very easy to peel off. Ive left the license plate holder thingy on though. I LOVE CARMAX! It was the best car buying experience Ive had or witnessed and I have NO problem advertising them on the road or at shows.

Lighter fluid works brilliantly on the leftover goo. Soak a rag with it, then press the rag on the goop to let it soak, then rub it off. Clean/rinse afterwards.
