Default cold air intake installation problem...

I just got the Airaid cold air intake but I can't figure out how to remove the factory air box assembly? The box rocks back and forth but won't come out. Only thing I can see is a little rubber stopper inside the box but that's not what's holding it in.
I'm probably just being to nice to the thing (don't want to damage anything)!!

Thanks

alceryes, lift the air box assembly straight up to release the two pop-in mounts. You may have to apply a little upward pressure to break loose the assembly from the pop-in mounts (from PT DIY).

Just follow the instructions on the Airraid datasheet or go here and look for the instructions/pictures http://www.ptdoityourself.net/index.html.

Just disconnect the hose running to the turbo from the airbox, pop off the PCV hose from the box, and just yank the sumbitch straight up!

Hold the car upside down and shake, or you can go underneath and push up.

You don't really need to remove the box to install the Airaid. The Airaid box uses the lower stock box. I just did mine a few weeks ago.
