Default What a great forum with great people.
I posted the below as a response in the Detail Shop, but since some may miss it, I felt it should be posted for all to see. It shows what a great forum this is and what great people are members.

If you did not see the thread, in the Detail Shop, I had posted a question ref. tire dressing. As usual I received a lot of really good information, but more importantly I was shown, once again, how wonderful PT owners are and how willing they are to help. One of the responses I received was from bobs turbo pt, he suggested I try Stoner's Tire Dressing. I looked, but was unable to find any in my area and asked where I could get some. Bob sent me an e-mail and offered to sent me a can.

"I want to publicly thank bobs turbo pt for his kindness. Bob sent me a can of Stoner's Tire Dressing to try out. He only asked for $5.00 to cover shipping (which was actually a little more) and sent me a brand new can of the tire dressing. Thanks Bob, that was very kind of you!"[?]

I have a theory that the PT subconsciously attracts decent people - I mean it's a "friendly" car, doesn't intimidate.

On another forum, I read of a silver PT owner whose grill was damaged. Since I'd replaced mine with a billet grill, I gave my stock grill to another PT owner who I'd never met, who took it to Cruise The Falls, where he gave it to the Georgia PT owner with the damaged grill. I didn't want money, but the Georgia owner sent me CDs of the PT service manual!

How many other car owners toot and wave at each other?[?]

Corvette, Jeep and Volkswagen owners to name a few, also bike riders. I've tried waving to other PT owners in my area and they look at me weird.
