Default What a beautiful day in southeastern

North Carolina, 55 degrees and sunny! I just finished washing and detailing my PT and I feel good! I always feel good when my Cruiser is clean and shinny. Tires, engine compartment, interior and exterior are all clean and sparkling!

IRPT, it sure sounds like you're having a GOOD DAY! [8D] A clean car makes for a happy person. [^] [?]

First, the pic: ROFLMAO!!!

Yes, having it clean inside and out seems to make a big difference on one's disposition.

Great day here, too. I stripped mine of wax and got the unprotected metal into the garage to clay it. Polish and wax tomorrow! (first one, boy will I feel good afterwards.)

Washed, polished, and waxed my baby yesterday, temp was in the hi 40's. Yuo guys are right, its a great feeling to have a clean ride.
My neighbor is always kidding me about how often I clean and detail my Cruiser. He says cars are clear coated, and dont need wax. Well he said that before I did a quarter of his hood! He went to Auto-Zone after that. and is now washing and waxing his car!!!

[^] Good job on the convert! It makes for a more enjoyable cruise, too. [8D]

Noone's given me flak yet about my detailing habits, but they do admire and comment on how nicely I keep it. It is nice when people stop and cannot resist staring at it for a while, especially the ladies.

Heh, the purpose of the clear coat is to protect the paint--you still need something to protect the clear coat! Not to mention filling in the scratches, marks, etc. of the clear coat.

Man, I heard that! I just got back from NC yesterday. The whole week I was there (24-31) weather was gorgeous! When I left CA it was raining and it's still raining! I went house shopping while I was there and am still in sticker shock. 2004 is the year I go home.
