example my wife and newborn will be attending ( if i do), once your on the grass in area can you leave at any time (with car) or are you their for the duration, also what exactly goes on, and does mopar/dcx/ aftermarket vendors attend.

I've been to the website, just worried that wifey and baby won't enjoy it all....

It would be just fine to bring your family along. The park is located right by the hotels, so if at some point your little one needed to go down for a nap, it wouldn't be far too go at all if you got a room nearby. I might not recommend the host hotel as from what I hear there is plenty of partying that goes on there. There are lots of other places nearby though. I don't know how fanatical your wife is about PTs, but if she likes them at all, she will be in awe when she sees them all. I know I felt truly humbled by all of the great PTs that were there last year. There is free food on site. If you prefer to go elsewhere to eat, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. All of the major attractions are within a 5 to 10 minute walk from there, so there's plenty to do. You can also drive in and out whenever you like. There were several vendors there last year. I know there was a Chrysler dealer selling stuff, as well as Race And Street and a few others. You can even get parts installed right there. I would definitely go if I were you.

I went last year with my wife and two kids (ages 4 and 7).

They had a fun time, alot to do, very family oriented.

our boys (11&13) didn't go last year. We are making it a point for them to go this year. There are PLENTY of things for them to do if they are not into th PT thang[|)].

CTF4 will be a family friendly event. I brought my wife and son to CTF2 and CTF3 and we had a ball, lots of family friendly activities. If you stay at the host hotel (if there are any rooms left) it is a 3 minute walk to the display field. Many cruisers come and go during the event, but there is no real need to do so. In any case, it is well worth the trip. Go, enjoy!

Like others have said, the lot is RIGHT AT THE HOTEL. If the family gets bored, walk back to the hotel for a swim, walk over to Clifton Hill area for amusements and fast food or over to the Falls- there is LOTS to do for the family.

You are free to leave at ANY TIME throughout the day, but in my 3 years there, very few ever have.

I will be opening registration on Feb 1, give or take. Just a couple prices to work out with the caterer.
