Sorry for the luck.
This happens at my local dealer to vehicle in the lot all the time. Im friends with the finanace manager, after setting with him for two hours.

I too would have my own installed alarm. BAOO and FTDBAOO (be aware of owner)(forget the dog be of owner). I would get a 45, 357 or a double barrel sawed off.

Any other suggestion is to live a video camera on while it sets in the car and try to catch these F*#K(*# PIECE OF #H*^ A$#h*#@s on tape.

Make them fell the wrath of a PT owner in jail when they meet, Big Bubba.

My solution for locking wheel caps would be locking mags. Hey, it's a good excuse to upgrade, particularly since they seem to be hard to find and probably not that much cheaper. You can hock the steel wheels to a poor sap up north <g> for winter wheels.
