Don't feel bad, Bro.......The only time I have seen another DCS2 on the road was once in the local Wal-Mart parking lot.It seems someone here in the county bought one, although I have never met him.I've driven quite a lot since I have had the car and have never seen another, and only on DCS1.

My area in FL the precentage must be higher, I see alot of classic's, not many with painted bumpers like mine. DCS1's, are not common but there our two that I diffinetly know of and many that I don't know of that I see, either on the road or in a parking lot.
I have seen around 5 different DCS1, I know because they had different couples in them.

One DCS1 is down the street from a friends house, sadly it sits in the driveway most of the day and the other is in my car club. The rest I see I don't know the owners and wonder if they know how special there PT's are.

I think the people down from my friend traded there DCS1 for a seamist green one. There has been a Seamist green PT there for a couple of days now.

Like I mentioned before, a rental lot has about 15 of the Seamist green ones, I haven't seen them for some time now and wonder if they got cheeper versions of the PT, with out the special paint. Most of the rentals have the bumper covers and are Limiteds with the leather suede interior. Course this in tourist season and most of there cars are not there at the time.

Which is worth more, rare colored paint or one of the DC's?
Mine because it has M3 mirrors.

Hey guys/gals, new one here...I wondered why I have only seen about two Sea Green's here in San Diego, CA. I can druve weeks between Los Angeles and San Diego and see lots of Curiser's but not Sea Mist Green ones. I like that I am one of a few.
It's nice having another Seamist Green owner on the forum--welcome, 04CMISTGRNGT! Great forum, great people, and lots of excellent information about PT Cruisers. AND, I agree with you of course--being one of "a few" is GOOD. [8D] [u]Less is MORE</u>! [|)]

haha, a guy with whom I work said to me yesterday, "Man, your car stands out! I saw you flying down _____ road, very noticable."

Colours I've seen around...hoops of silver, a couple cranberries, a black, a white, a forest/hunter (?) green with beige trim, a blue GT, and a black with a killer flame job (tourist).

I met another DC2 owner who lives in town here and works near me and I have never seen his car before. I found out about him through these forums, heh.

That reminds me, he said his 5-speed will beat my Autostick in the 1/4. I said, "it's_ON"! Someone start a pool, heh.

Not everybody believes that...

"...I've driven both and found the automatic to be very quick and fun to drive, the turbo kicks in quickly,(at about 2,000 RPM), and You can really feel the power. But the 5-Speed was a huge let-down, NO turbo at all in 1st gear, and it wouldn't kick in until after 4,000 RPM in 2nd gear. The automatic was definitely a quicker car, a faster car, and everything worked like it was supposed to. The 5-Speed is supposed to be the quicker of the two according to DC, but it's definitley NOT!..."

...Does anyone know if the Steel Blue is discontinued as well...
Yes, as SteelBlueGT indicated, this color is no longer available beginning with the 2004 model year. I believe it was replaced by a new color--Midnight Blue.

What's this? "Midnight Blue"? I haven't seen this before. Do you have any pics?

(Hmmmm, Another shade of blue, and still no yellow?)

MIDNIGHT BLUE is one of the two colors used on the DCS3. After talking to my dealer it is my understanding that this color is NOW available on any 2004 model.
