Default water inside door jambs

every time I wash my cruiser or it rains or snows I find water inside on all the jambs. Front door back door & back hatch. is this nomal or should all my doors be readjusted. Only car I've ever owned with this condition or to this degree. This may also answer my other posting on sound deadening.

My Pt after washing has water on the door sill area. Is this what you are talking about?

gonzomania, I have the same problem. Every time I wash my car I must dry all door jams. I just assumed this was normal for the PT. Anyone else experiencing anything different?

If you have an '01, I remember posts on the rubber seals coming loose - are yours intact?
If it's not that, try using a leaf blower to dry thr PT - seriously. I blow into all the "nooks and crannies", such as the hood & door seams, and it blows all the water out.

I get the same water spots/buildup in the door sills whenever I get caught in the rain! [8D]. But, I keep my cars extremely clean and knowing that water has gotten into the sills is just another reason to get in there and keep the whole area really clean, otherwisw I spend a lot of time on the outside and sometimes leave the inside alone.

I was going to post this very same question, I do get the water in those spots but what is even worse is when it is very cold and the car is parked in drifting snow, the sill will fill with snow, after driving and it warms up it turns to water, then ice, now when I open the door the corner of the front door is frozen in the ice or scraps really bad against the ice build up.

This is a real pain in the rear.

After washing I get water in the door sills
and back hatch, but I can't say it gets in there
after a rain.At least I have not noticed it.
