Talk about a bad day. I go to pick my daughter up at daycare get home and realize I lost one of my new wheelcovers somewhere on the way home. So now i have 3 nice lookin wheels and one butt ugly steel rim. ughh, now i gotta go spend $50 and a new set F***in potholes. Then I get my nice shiny new fuel door and the F***in factory screws dont wanna fit so i spend 30 mins getting them in. Somedays you should just stay in bed

Any chance of going back where the pothole was and looking for your wheelcover? That's probably where it came off. [:I] As far as the shiny new fuel door, sometimes stuff like that are made for a variety of different cars and you have to work to get it to fit properly. 30 minutes ain't so bad if it looks good at the end. I'm having some custom work done at a body shop and while I was there I saw a Honda Ricer fitted with all the ground effects that the Fast & furious are putting on their cars. It was the WORST fitting pieces I've ever seen on a car. Not one piece matched up to the original body. Had a great silver pearl paint job with all these hugh gaps all over the place. That owner won't be having a good day either.

nah it was like 45 mins after taht i realized it came off and of all roads it was the one that runs from the beach straight through downtown 6 lanes wide. odds af gettin it back are slim to none. oh well i guess now i'll have 3 extra incase i lose more. gotta get some rims...c'mon income tax lol

I hit a pothole the other day, put a bubble in my sidewall the size of a freakin orange. Had to get a new tire... $170. Insurance wouldn't cover it, and since it was on a bridge maintained by the 'US Army engineers' or something, the state nor DelDOT would cover it.

I hit a dip in the rode that bent my front fascia piece.

I didn't get covered by the city either because I didn't see the posted DIP caution sign. I could buy a whole new body kit for the price of the damage. Good for me you really can't see it. [}]

Oh plus, I tested the dip and you hit it at 15 mph LESS than the posted sign. I went to a lawyer and told them this and he said that I would have to take the city to small clams court to recieve money, even after all the headache of that, I would only get about half the price plus get charged for the lawyer costs. [}]
