Vanity Mirror light bulb replacement

Hi There,
This is my first time with this forum but it seems this is the area to ask this question. Has anyone tried to replace the light bulb in the sunvisor mirror? I've tried to "gently" take it out, but there is no room to pull the bulb completely out. I've run out of options short of breaking the bulb and taking out the pieces, but then I have to put it back in. Has anyone done this sucessfully? Am I missing a secret move, etc.?

Bren Turck welcome to the forum. Here you go:

VANITY LAMP
REMOVAL
(1) Lower visor.
(2) Insert a small flat bladed tool into the slot
between the lamp lens and lamp.
(3) Carefully pry lens outward.
(4) Remove bulb from socket.
INSTALLATION
(1) Position bulb in socket and push into place.
(2) Position lens on lamp and snap into place.
