Default Programming Keyless enty

Hey has anyone programed a second remote?[:I] I have one but would like 2.I have a second one with all the same #'s on the back. Any help?[?]

I think you have to have 2 in order to program a 3rd. I believe the dealship can do it for you with only one.

alot of systems you need all of the remotes you have or it will erase the others. there are a couple of system you can do one by one but i don't think this is one.

Yes, RTFM, or PTDIY site.

You need to have two keys to make more keys, up to 8.

Your car should have come with two keys and two remotes.

brngrhd is probably right; that makes sense.

I had problems with one remote, took it to the dealer.
they tested it said it was ok,they changed the batteries.
still didn't work.I tried to reprogram it like my owners
manuel said several times never worked. took it to the service
department they programed it. Took them about 3 minutes.

Thanks for the help.[?] I went to the dealer here in ND and they wanted like $45.00 for a second remote and about the same to program it,never said anything about do it myself. Got it programed
