Man, when I drove through St Louis a couple years back, it was really bad.I hear up around Detroit it's really really bad with those.

Update: The wheel arrived from dealer - $250 + (the painted alloy, not chrome).
Took to Sears, Alignment + tire pro-rated w/road hazard warranty:
$153. AND Sears tells me rear camber is off (on side that hit pothole), and they don't do that - requires shims from dealer - tires will wear faster/uneven unless I fet it done.
So I'm in that pothole for over $400 and the dealer has a shot to add.
