Default Automatic Door Locks

Hello I was just wondering if it were possible to get power door locks on a car that never had them to begin with. If so where can it be done and the price range. Thanks for any info.

Have an 02 Classic and it came without the power door locks. Was able to add the power door locks as well as keyless entry. Think the system is made by Python. Cannot remember the $ amount, but if you go to any local shop that installs stereos and the like I am sure they can quote it for you. Best of luck.

My first PT was a base model, I went to the dealer they wanted $300.00 and that did not include the rear hatch. They said they couldn't do the rear hatch. I think because of the wire harness.

Do what I did, sell it and get a GT. I never looked back.

$300 doesn't sound too bad - did that include remote entry or just power locks? For both, not too bad, IMHO.

i install the power door locks myself. bought the door solioids including one for the hatch for about $50. i prewired the doors, hatch and a switch on the dash before i went to the Alarm installer. he then wire everything to the Viper alarm system so I can use Alarm remote to open the doors and set the alarm.
