Default Lights Flicker

Oh,oh, went to the garage last night to warm up the "T", under wraps for the winter. Noticed that the interior lights were kind of flickering, went and turned on the outside lights and noticed they too were flickering a little bit! Anyone had this problem ? I wonder if the Alternator is going bad, only 24,000 miles on my 2002, is shouldn't be going bad, should it ?[:I]

I think you're okay. If car's been sitting, battery is probably low is all. take it for a good drive, and you should be okay. I'd suspect battery before alternator. BTW - on my '02 I have 71,000 + miles. Original except, brakes, tires, and transmission fluid.

You could put a trickle charger (say, 3A) on it one night.

I understand they have smart chargers now that act just like the chargers for DC batteries and slowly charge the battery and then keep it topped up to full charge as the battery demands. I was told to use one on my Mustang as I dont drive that too often. It is supose to increase the life of the battery!

I use a Super Smart Battery Tender on my Harley, it's works great. One of these would be perfect if you have to let your Cruiser sit for several months or days. Get some info at the links below:

My lights were flickering. The dealer changed the multi function switch and I haven't noticed the lights flickering since but I only noticed the headlights flickering not the interior lights.
