Default Flat tire ????

I was wondering ,since you have to jack the cruiser
up from the side.how do you get the jack under
it,if you have a flat tire, if you lower it?[:I] I was thinking of lowering mine.

Jimbo,

Sometimes you can't. I haven't tried the jack from the PT yet...(maybe I should just in case)...but I do almost all of my own maintenance and bought an ultra low jack to put under/near the rear wheel just to get the PT high enough so the larger rolling jacks can get under the front. I also have the fake lake pipes which adds to the drop.

You're okay unless you "slam" it. 2" should be okay. I say "should", because if the wheel is in a hole, it may not make it, but the jack is pretty flat when down, and clears by more than an inch or two.

Just drive the car up on a block of wood 2x4 works[^] good enough to get the car up so you can get the jack under.

my cruiser is lowered2 inches and when i got a flat last year, all i had to do was lift up on the wheel well and the jack went right under, not the most easiest thing to do but it works. lets just hope the roads get better before show season.
