Yeah, Herman Denunzio runs that place. He's a good guy.

someone mentioned about wolo horns (2 in a pack) i installed those in my S10--big improvement over the single note factory horn. picked them up @ harbor freight tools. very reasonable---if my memory serves me correctly they were less than $15.00 for the pair. i checked h f t web site, do not see them. am going to pick up one of their aluminum jacks this weekend, i will check the number at that time.

King, In all I have 6 horns. A set of Olds Alero horns (Hi-Lo) A set of PT horns (Hi-Lo) and the Hella german horns (Hi-Lo) behind the grille. As far as wiring goes, a SPST 12v relay wired this way,

1. +12v Coil wire to the +12v on the current horn wiring and -12v coil wire to ground.

2. Hella horns wired in parallel with the +12v lead from the horns to the Operating point on the relay. And -12v to ground.

3. a +12v lead (directly from battery terminal) to the Normally open terminal on the relay.

Operates like this, horn sw in steering wheel is depressed. This activates the original horns. This +12v also activates the relay and connects the Hella horns to +12v directly from the battery. This setup does not add any additional stress to the horn circuit because the relay is the only extra component that is actuated by the horn circuit (and it draws very little current) the +12v to operate the horns comes directly from the battery to the hella horns through the relay contacts.

I can draw you a schematic if you want. Just send me a PM and I'll draw one and scan it and send it to you via E-Mail......
