Default How do i get power to and wire neons from fuse box

Ok here is my problem, i want to use the fuse box to supply power to my neons in my car, i have several sets and how am i to go about this by taping into the fuse panel in the car. I have an 02 touring edition without heated seats so i thought in the place where that fuse goes.

Any one wire them this way, im trying to make it as simple as possible without taping into say the 12v outlets or batery direct.

so please share on how u did it.

Or, you can take a fuse, break away the plastic to get at the metal lugs, and solder to them. Be sure to use an inline fuse. Easier than getting at the back of the fuse block.

I ran my neons off the battery. Its really not that hard just put the wire right through the firewall and connect all them up.Good luck with everything.

The idea is to pick up the 12V off the fuse block inside the car, rather than going thru the firewall to get at the battery.

oh, if they're interior neons....ok I see....tap the wire into the same fuse that runs your radio, that's usually a good one.

i tried to use my circut tester and i can't get the signal from the fuse block when i use the ground infront of the car in the engine compartment by the hood latch. There are fuses for heated seats that i don't have. Is there a way to use them, and use a fuse tap. I tested them but it didnt light up the tester.

Any one know why i cant get a circut tester to light when i connect to my heated seats fuse block. I was grounding at the hood latch in the front. Where its a recomended ground for a jump start.
