headlight flames for New Jersey
on E-bay a guy from UK is selling etched look glass flame decals for front headlights. Look pretty cool but not sure New Jersey allows this anybody know the law?[|)]

I have seen colored flames in California... but they again you know how we are.. I hope NJ will allow.. I think it is a great idea.. Very nice looking in the etched...

My experience with NJ inspections is that it's largely the whim of the inspector. You COULD find a gas station that does inspections and ask.... The state inspection stations seems to WANT to fail you.

gonzomania, do you have the item number or a link to the page. I did a search on e-bay and came up with nothing, even search sold items.

Hey!!! Went to Motor vehicle inspection station to check, the guy says the flames interfere with the prism in the headlight. Might have to buy headlight covers and install them on the covers so I can take them off when I have to go thru inspection (not until 2007). Also talked to seller on line and he may be coming out with same for back end lights.

IRPT, Sorry I forgot about this post here is the search name on eBay for the flame decals PT CRUISER ETCHED GLASS HEADLIGHT DECALS. I added it to my favoritesand e-mailed seller, his name is Martin Brown and he said I could buy outright for L19.00 also he's doing taillight and rear window stuff. Let me know if you need to talk with him.
