With only having 33 mods now, I feel like I fall short of something I don't have. I have near to none of the interior done. I just have door inserts, billet shifter, chrome trim on the trans box, billet eyebrows, door lock pins, CD and spearkers, door sill plates. I feel like I need more stuff on the inside to make me see the cool things I bought for the PT.

Exterior I think Im set, once I get my last two mods painted and installed, money is not the option its the lazyness of getting to the paint shop when you work 50 hours a week and have one day off.

I'm on my second PT (03 Turbo)with the trailer that looks like a cruiser. My wife has had two cruisers. My company car is a PT. I gave up a 26'Baja boat with a 454 Mag engine and a 99 Dodge V10 extended cab dually to do my changes on the Cruiser. Won't even talk about how much $ spent. Quit counting because it would scare me. As some say, to many mods to count or list. 24 shows last year, 36 awards. Best of all was at MMISL last year. Participants Choice and Best of Show. I can never top that. I quit doing anything and then see something new I like and have to have it. Lately have been backing off-----some. Addicted? H ll yes!!

Your car sounds fantastic, Hudd. How about posting some PICS? [|)] [8D]

turbomangt...I'm at about the same place as you with the $$ amount, and mine's not turbo, so as you said, yes, performance does cost more. I only started doing cosmetic in the past 6 months or so.

The key to spending this much on a car and not feeling THAT bad about it, at least for me, is keeping the car for some length of time. Now I'm fast approaching 4 years with the PT, and, yes, I've spent a lot. But it doesn't seem like it given the time period, as compared to others here anyway.

What I've done wrong is the Jeep Wrangler that I put $5K into mods and kept 13 months. Followed by a Prowler with $4K worth of work, kept 16 months. Followed by a Jeep Cherokee with another $4K worth of mods and only kept 8 months. Those make me dizzy thinking about.

We never plan on getting rid of this car. My wife is already talking about parking it when it's paid off and getting another car, using this one for show and fun. We'll see if that happens. It's not destined to be a classic, by any stretch of the imagination, but to us it is.

And it's worth every penny.
