When are we done?

I think its safe to say that most of us here are Obcessed with mods. Heck, I ran out of room on my display sign for car shows already and I thought I was running out of things I could do to my car (NOT!)Haven't even touched on suspension, and performance mods, (with the exception of my exhaust) Now I'm reading on the Turbo forum what guys are doing to their cars and its unreal. Is their a point when we sit back and add up our receipts and say to ourselves we over did it? I must have 4-5K in mostly cosmetic mods, it would be safe to bet that performance mods are much more expensive. I love my car, I want to keep it as long as I can, but when we end up putting thousands of dollars in it, I wonder when enough is enough. Gary

It's only money, you can't take it with you.

I doubt you had any intention of making a profit from the PT when you bought it.

As long as you still feel good about spending more on it you should, and enjoy it.

cook, you hit the nail right on the head/ but what she don't know won;t hurt right? I was never thinking of making money on my car, although I might be the only person around with $35,000 in my car, which on paper is worth 15K? I guess I'm looking for support like when you go to AAA, I feel like I got the bug again, springs, stage 1, roll bars, spark plugs, tires, wheels, HELP HELP HELP DOC, I CAN'T CONTROL MYSELF. When I think I'm done ,someone buys something and posts
it on this forum and I think I have to have that.Than
I go to order and find more things and it just never ends.
My wife thinks I'm nuts and I'm starting to agree
