Do you need a chamber corection kit ,when
installing springs. Checked around and the cheapest place I could find to do the install was 225.00. So I think I will try it myself, if I can find a spring compressor. |

Jimbo,
That's way too much to pay. Do a search for lowering springs on this forum and you'll see that most of paid a lot less or did it thmeselves with the right equipment. The rear springs go on without any trouble at all, it's the front ones that need compressing and a little work. Good luck. P.S. After installing mine (Eibach) I didn't need the correction kit and it's been 50,000 miles and two sets of tires without trouble.

Jimbo, I have the Progress springs with 2" drop. After I installed the springs I took my PT to have front and rear aligned, I did not need a chamber correction kit.

I paid that for install and alignment.
I don't have time to my own springs...don't want to take an arm off. Although I'd prolly try it now.
