Greetings all! Just found the forums. I bought my '03 PT standard ed. when i got back from deployment for OEF/OIF. Been looking for a good roof rack for mine. would prefer OEM but the dealer will charge out the nose for it! I have a baby girl on the way and would like to have the option to put bags on the roof. any suggestions?? I noticed that not alot of PTs around here in NC have 5-speeds! I specificly wanted the 5 speed since it only has the standard 2.4 4cyl. plus i like manual trans. glad to find this place and hope to post more soon!!

Welcome AirEvac19.
For the Chrysler rack - get a price here:
http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...archTerms=deal

Send Jeff an email. I dealt with them, they beat my dealer's prices by a lot, and parts came really fast. Can't hurt to get a price from them.

That's the rack. Putting it on,... need to remove headliner, & drill holes. I don't know if there's any reinforcing when factory does roof racks.

You can take out one of the back seats....

Just so you know - the smaller they are, the more junk they require. As kids grow up, they need less "stuff".

Well Quicksilver, to put it in simple terms, I'm a flight medic that flies on fixed wing aircraft as opposed to rotory wing aircraft. Right now i'm qualified on the C-130 however most of my hours are on a C-141 and i have the ability to jump on to just about any aircraft in the USAF inventory (cargo planes that is!)and do my job. Probably going back out the door here in June which is about a month and a half after my little girl is due!

airevac19,
I think you meant me and not Don, but.....

Thats sounds really interesting, you get to jump out of planes for a living, how cool is that. But I guess its not all fun, because its military related. But still sounds good.
