When I bought my PT it only had 1 key and no fob. I bought the car from a chevy dealer and he orderded me the fob of course it dosen't work and I need 2 keys, so I'm thinking I'm going to have to take it to the Chrysler dealer and get another key and fob and have them programmed. It this something I have to leave the car there for? Does it take a while or will I be able to wait for it? Anyone Know?

By the way I just got back from a 2000 mile trip and averaged 27.5 mpg driving 75 mph most of the time. Very happy about that with the auto.[?]

The service department at your deal should be able to
program yours. I had trouble and it took them about
2 minutes to program it.

Yes it does. And the smartest move you can make is to get a 3rd key (spare) and program it yourself while you still have 2 live ones.
that is a great idea! I have a little girl due here in about a month. I might have to convince the accountant (aka my wife) to do this!!
