Default Keyless entry?

Dose anyone know if all the PT Cruisers with the Touring option come with keyless entry? When I bought mine there was no key fob for the keyless entry, the dealer ordered me a entry fob and I tried to program it accourding to the manual with no results?[:I]
I was under the asumption that all the touring had this option. Am I wrong?

Blade,

According to my owners manual, there's 5 easy steps to programming the remote. I received two with my PT and they both were already programmed by the dealer or factory so I never had to mess around with it. I guess the first thing to do is to check and make sure the battery is good. If it is, ask the dealer for help.

The dealer has to program the remote. Without having a working remote you can't program a new one. The dealer should know that or he is an idiot.

Most people don't know if you have the transponder keys you have to take it to the dealer to have a new one programmed if you lose one. If you buy a spare any locksmith can cut it and you can program it yourself in about two minutes But you have to have two working keys to do it

Grouch & Crewzin are correct - Touring Edition has keyless remote - takes two "key fobs" to program. [?]

All you have to do is read the sticker for the window. If it has keyless entry then you should have it. If you have power locks its 99% likey you have it.

Yes it does. And the smartest move you can make is to get a 3rd key (spare) and program it yourself while you still have 2 live ones.
