Ever since I got the car, the plastic wheel-well panels make alot of noise when driving down the road and rolling over your common holes in the roads.....is this a common problem with PT Cruisers? Do any other owners experience the same problem? .... always enjoy reading the boards..... [|)]

Mine don't make any noise, unless they do it when I'm not around.

2207,
I assume you are referring to the black plastic vents on the rear wheelwell arch right in the door sill? Yeah, I have that same %^&* rattle too. It can buzz pretty good at idle. Scott

And how are you sure that's what it is?

quicksilverdon,
I know because I can open the rear door and press on the vents and the rattle or buzzing stops. I have a problem with foam or two-sided tape on body panel openings: water retention. Anytime you can retain water on a body seam or opening, it's an invitation for rust to start. Scott

Just put a little dab of 3M Plastic and Emblem Adhesive under each end. Use just a little so you can pop them off again if necessary and that's plenty to stop motion (rattle).
