Went on vacation to Florida a couple weeks ago, so I figured that it would be the perfect time to have my PT repaired (got rear-ended heading out to Las Vegas for New Year's Eve...) [B)] as well as to have my suspension and exhaust mods put in.
In the 2 weeks that the car has been in the shop, I've driven 2 rentals. MAN do they not match up to the PT in almost any way. [:0] I have a 2003 GT, and it kicks their asses in comfort, handling, and power. The *only* thing I'll give to the rentals I've had is better gas milage, and *possibly* a smaller turning radius that makes it a little easier to park. And the scary thing is my PT is just going to get even better with the new mods... Paul |

I looked at a Volvo S60 with all wood grain and leather. That was nice, but not for 500 a month.
I should have waited for a turbo or GT. I really don't think the N/A PT is all that slow though, but I have not driven a GT yet and may not want to, and go back to be driving a less power N/A version. As far a comfort, for some reason the seats are very comfortable, the handleing isn't bad either. Yet the turn raduis stinks, almost a three point turn at every u-turn or parking.
