PT Love -- Is it Natural?

Welcome PlasteredDragon !! Way back when the PT's 1st came out we all had names for our PT's . I am not sure what spurred the trend but most people do not do that anymore. Ours was named "Scarlett" for "frankly Scarlett I don't give a dam#." we were all pretty exited back then getting our cruisers and it appears that has not changed [?]

I first started naming my cars with a BMW 3 series I had. Figured since she was German and liked to run (ie great legs) I named her Steffi, after Ms Graf, who is also German and has great legs. My silver Stratus was called Sylvia, just a tie in to the color. My wife actually named my PT Cruiser: Penelope T Cruz'r Nice play on the actress' name and the whole Spanish/Mexican/Latina tie in.

No fear, there's no cure as long as you own a PT...just accept it and join in with so many others who share your 'problem'.

I've only had my PT Cruiser for about 2 weeks 'though I've wanted one for years since they first came out. I just love it every bit as much as I hoped.

I haven't really made a conscious decision to name it, but when I mention it to someone I usually end up calling it Baby - - not very original, but that's what it is - - my baby!!

THERES BEEN MANY OF TIMES WERE I WANTED TO GET RID OF MY PT BUT I HAVE GROWN TO BE EXTREMLY ATTACKED TO MY PT LIKE IF IT WAS A PET OR SOMETHING, I DID SEE MY PT FOR 3 MONTHS ONE TIME AND I HAD TO SEE HER RIGHT AWAY WHEN I ARRIVED AND I GAVE HER A HUG

I have owned many cars over the years and some were very very nice , but to me my PT is special. I sometimes look at it and cant believe its really mine.
